What would you want to build?
I started this blog because I want to inspire others to start building, but also bring more transparency around how to get started. Along the way I talk about money and how much it costs (and saves!) for each project. I understand not everyone wants to build themselves — that’s totally fine! In that case, I hope I can provide value by sharing my experiences with renovations so that you can negotiate stronger with contractors and know how much to realistically budget. There’s a range of offerings here, so feel free to get started with my step by step project templates or lean into my Finished Project posts about the realities of renovating.
